As I said on the home page I got into photography as a result of my job working for Pete Townshend. My early efforts were pretty average but I hope things have improved somewhat! I'm not the most technical of photographers but I like what I take so that's half the battle. Along the way I've had help, advice and encouragement from a couple of great photographers and friends; Tom Wright (www.tomwrightphotography.com/) and someone very important to me Chris Morphet, who continues to provide inspiration and encouragement. Both of these great photographers were The Who's earliest allies behind the lens.
Since leaving my job with Pete I've moved fully into photography and now supply a number of top agencies with images for syndication as well as taking on commissions from bands and individuals. My main photographic interest is live music but I'm also keen to develop further than that. I'm always looking for new avenues so if anyone has any interesting ideas please let me know.
I've had photographs published in numerous newspapers and magazines including Rolling Stone, Billboard, Music Week, NME, Grazia, Hello, Newsweek, NY Times, Guardian, Telegraph, Sun and, of course, The Daily Sport! I've also had a few cover shots, most notably on NME, Guitarist magazine, In Tune and a cover of The Guardian, not to mention the National Enquirer. My photo's have also been used a lot on line - quite a few on nme.com and I've also provided a number of music websites with images.

The photography section is split into three areas - music, other and press - so just click on the links to the left to get to them. Each band or topic has been split into different galleries so just click on the one you want to access that gallery. As a result of some of the emails I've received about buying prints if you're interested in buying any just email me and I'm sure we can sort something out.
